Hi,I'm Caimh McDonnell.
As well as being an author, I'm a stand-up comedian, TV writer, sports announcer and podcast producer. I also ballroom dance like a dream - well, OK, I've not tried and I'm never going to but, I like to think that if I did, I'd be great at it. Let's all just get onboard with that and get that rumour out there. This is the internet, weirder things have happened.
The books I write are comedic crime thrillers set in my hometown of Dublin. I like to view them as purely crime books that also happen to be funny, but that doesn't take away from the drama. Bad stuff happens, actions have real consequences, no pies get thrown.
So, read my books, don't read my books, entirely up to you - now if you'll excuse me, I have a hypothetic ballroom dancing championship to win.
