Bio

I’ve always been curious about the world: how it works, why it works and who makes it work. And I’ve loved writing since I could first form letters. My curiosity and love of writing led me to a career in journalism. I’ve been working in mass communication for more decades than I will disclose.

History and reading are other loves so I guess it was inevitable I’d write a novel. But it took a long time to start. There was always an excuse not to. Thrillers and social realism are favourite genres. Karl’s War is a combination of both. When I am not writing or reading, I am at the cinema or a meeting of Toastmasters, a personal growth organisation. Politics and travelling are other passions.

I work and live with my partner in Australia’s most beautiful and only island state, Tasmania.
