Creating art makes me as excited as a happy child. Art-making keeps me hopeful, optimistic and resilient, no matter what life may throw my way; and my creative vision allows me to see beauty in and marvel at seemingly ordinary, every-day things.Art de Joulie was established in September 2015 and is the culmination of a life-long dream of mine. Creating art has always been my passion and it is what feeds my soul. To finally be able to focus on art full-time, therefore, has been deeply fulfilling.
I was born in Trinidad and Tobago, and my work is a jovial, vibrant and eclectic representation of my visions, predominantly inspired by my diverse personal cultural background, our rich national culture, and by my life’s experiences in general. It is also my intent that my art is meaningful, telling a range of stories about peace, joy, harmony, unity and strength.
At the moment, I operate mainly out of Trinidad and Tobago. There are, however, products currently available for purchase online which are on this website.
