Excellent!
I have loved every Morgan Brice book I've ever read. That being said, Simon and Vic are my favorite couple and their books are my favorites.
This was a wonderful feel-good story. I was sucked into the lives of the Dawson and Grady, but also invested in the secondary story's MCs as well. Wonderfully written and engaging, you'll find yourself pulled into this warm story from the beginning.
This story was so incredibly cute. Morgan managed to tell a wonderfully sweet, warm and, at times, painful story, and while you don't have to know the characters from their original books to enjoy it, it makes you want to go back and devour everything she had written so far. We know that's what we'll be doing!! We absolutely need more of Grady and Dawson and the entire King family.
Morgan Brice writes one of my favorite genre mash-ups: supernatural romantic suspense! Not only that, but her multiple series all exist in the same story world, so character cross-overs! (Another of my favorite things.) The Christmas Spirit ticks both these boxes with big red-and-green snow-spangled Xs. All that and a haunted snow globe. What's not to love?
The Christmas Spirit is a delightful holiday story that introduces a very modern Christmas Carol to our heroes. With a solid established relationship, the twists in this story kept me invested, what a great introduction to a new to me series.
I'm a huge fan of the Kings of the Mountain series. Morgan Brice is a master at world building, making you feel as if you can step into the story and lend a hand. Dawson and Grady are out on one last monster hunt before Christmas. While I love the paranormal elements of this story, my favorite thing about Kings of the Mountain is the family, including a cameo appearance by a favorite character from an earlier series When they gather for Christmas dinner, you'll wish you had a seat at the table, laughing ad loving right along with them.
I adore Morgan Brice's work. Defs one of my go too reread authors.
I'm a big fan of supernatural stories and even more so when there's a medium and a jaded cop involved! Wonderful story telling and world building and a fab read.
Ooh! Night is such a fun read; a great introduction to Simon and Vic, with loads of spooks and a helping of spice!
