Bio
E.J. Russell–grace, mother of three, recovering actor–writes romance in a rainbow of flavors. Count on high snark, low angst and happy endings.Reality? Eh, not so much.
She’s married to Curmudgeonly Husband, a man who cares even less about sports than she does. Luckily, C.H. also loves to cook, or all three of their children (Lovely Daughter and Darling Sons A and B) would have survived on nothing but Cheerios, beef jerky, and Satsuma mandarins (the extent of E.J.’s culinary skill set).
E.J. lives in rural Oregon, enjoys visits from her wonderful adult children, and indulges in good books, red wine, and the occasional hyperbole.

We went into reading this story knowing one thing: there is NOBODY that writes stories around existing mythology quite like E.J. So we expected her genius to be at work again. But we got so much more than that. Kai is adorable, funny, quirky and just the most fascinating character and Jovan...talk about swooooooon!! And seeing how half of the A.M. writing duo is from The Balkans, seeing some Slavic lore used in such a hilarious way made the whole thing a thousand times better.<br /> So wrap up in your warmest blanket (you don't want propuh to get ya!!) and enjoy this magical read! Now excuse us while we go re-read the entire series!
E.J. Russell never fails to disappoint! This fun Enchanted Occasions novella reminded me of everything I love about that world: the humor, the romance, the oddities and wonders. The chemistry between Kai and Jovan is there from the beginning, and the story is a delightful romp guaranteed to make you chuckle and give you all the good feelings.
OMG I love this author’s books! Great characters, hot attraction and all the feels!

Possession in Session
After centuries of being bound to one greedy magician after another, Auni-jel-Chandu broke free and retreated to Sheol, outcast even among other demons. But then the Realm Accords passed, and suddenly he’s thrust into the Sheol Retraining Initiative as the newest supernatural medical technician student at United Memorial Hospital (aka St. Stupid’s).
Death and untold destruction are sure to follow. Aren’t they?
Wash Hernández might be a dud witch—he’d never been able to attract a familiar, so he’s as magic-null as any human—but as a St. Stupid’s orderly, he’s still able to assist supernatural beings who need medical care. But when he meets a bewildered naked demon wandering the hospital corridors and forms an instant connection, he’s not certain who needs help the most.
