When 20-something Metalhead, Maya, is invited to an album release party by High-Strung Records, she has no idea what is coming. Rich as he is aloof, Michael ‘Mickey’ Malloy is the ultimate in hard- to-get. Dedicated to his work as president of High-Strung Records to the seeming exclusion of all else, Mickey is more myth than a man, little really known about his past. Maya is determined however and will not stop until she gets her man. Just as true love begins to spark in their once cynical hearts, the skeletons in Mickey’s closet begin to rattle once again, and he must face his most hated, and deadly, enemy - himself. Can Mickey hold on to his new life with Maya, or will the monster he’d once caged break loose once more, and destroy his world?
